Wooden earrings POOLKUU

These unique half-moon wooden earrings are handmade from reclaimed thermo aspen, showcasing a minimalistic and chic design inspired by nature. The thermo aspen features a beautiful dark chocolate tone, deepening in sunlight to reveal rich hues.

The concept for these earrings originated from a broken full moon "Kuu" hair clip. After accidentally sanding the clip too thin, I chose to repurpose the beautiful wood into a new accessory rather than waste it.

I believe that exceptional design can and should be achieved sustainably, demonstrating that elegance and eco-friendliness can go hand in hand. The thermo wood is incredibly lightweight, making these earrings comfortable to wear throughout the day.

The finish consists of natural linseed oil and beeswax, enhancing the wood's beauty while ensuring durability.
